Fare well at Gala night

On November 9 was a moment to say farewell to many friends, during a very nice gala night were more 3,000 people celebrated the end of one more exciting World Congress of JCI.

See you in Tunisia in 2009!

JCI Tunisia Night a moment to celebrate

JCI Tunisia Night was moment to promote the World Congress 2009 in Tunisia and for me an opportunity to celebrate with many JCI friends the award of Most Outstanding Trainer 2008.

The award of Most Outstanding Trainer goes to… Filipe Carrera

It was an honour to receive the award of Most Outstanding Trainer 2008 at the World Congress; this award distinguishes one trainer in a universe of 10.000 trainers in 115 countries. This was moment of joy for me and for JCI Portugal.

Also I have to thank the national organizations of Estonia, Romania, Turkey, Russia, Iceland and Italy that gave me the opportunity to give trainings in their countries.

A very special thanks to JCI Lithuania for the several training projects we did together, that were awarded with two European Awards.

The new 2009 coordinator of JCI Trainings for Europe is… Filipe Carrera

On the morning of November 8 I got the surprise of being appointed as the new 2009 coordinator of JCI Trainings for Europe during the General Assembly.

It was very nice to receive the trust of my colleagues in JCI Training and a special word from the JCI World President 2009.

Japan Night exquisite as always

Japan night is always a highlight of any World Congress of JCI and in New Delhi was no exception.

It was also an opportunity to meet some of my Japanese friends.

Doing Networking Seminar in New Delhi

Around 100 participants were present at my Networking seminar, most of them from JCI India.

Night of Americas, Africa and Middle East

It was time to celebrate a job well done, so nothing better than to visit the night of the Americas, Africa and Middle East.

It was fun to put in the same photo representatives of Macau and Goa.

Training JCI Presenter in New Delhi

On 3rd day of the World Conference was time to work as Head Trainer of JCI Presenter having as Assistant Trainer Adetola Sogbesan from JCI Nigeria.

The group was big, 21 people, being 18 from India, 1 from Martinique, 1 from Denmark and 1 from the Netherlands.

It was a course with a huge participation and fun.

Having fun at Korea and Bangladesh Night

After the first day of trainings, were I had the pleasure to support the Katrin Aedma from Estonia in her training session, it was time to party in Korea and Bangladesh Night.

Opening Ceremony

Arriving to a JCI World Conference is always a magical moment and in New Delhi that was no exception.

I could talk about the great opening ceremony, but I prefer to stress the fantastic feeling that was to meet so many friends from so many countries, that is really JCI!!!
